    Art Therapist

    Kate has been practising as a Registered Art Therapist since 2013 and is also a Lego Therapist. Kate enjoys working with children and Adolescents, supporting them to gain personal insight and to reach their full potential.

    Kate offers fun, creative, experimental, and expressive art therapy and Lego-based Therapy sessions that provide children and adolescents with a supported environment to build confidence and self-esteem, learn and practise skills to regulate behaviour and develop social skills. Kate has recently left her 5½ year position as an Art Therapist at Monash Children’s Hospital seeing inpatients for individual and group session for non-medical intervention, to redirect anxiety and stress, gain personal insight and address mental health concerns.

    Kate also works in private practice with children and adolescents to increase their understanding of themselves and the world they live in by developing coping strategies, exploring relationships, and social skills, addressing stress, anxiety, and other mental health concerns using a creative and person-centred approach.
