Sara-Lynn Hind

Psychology BSc(Hons), Speech and Language Therapy PG Dip, MSPA


Sara-Lynn is a Speech Pathologist with over 9 years of experience assessing and working with children with a wide range of speech, language and communication difficulties. Prior to joining Crisalida, Sara-Lynn has worked in hospitals, early intervention centres, mainstream and specialist schools, mental health units, and was a senior clinician at reputable multidisciplinary clinics in both London and Melbourne. She also provided voluntary speech and language therapy in West Africa.

She has experience working in the areas of:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis and intervention
  • Late talkers
  • Delayed and disordered speech and language
  • Developmental delays
  • Pragmatics/social skills
  • Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS)

Sara-Lynn is committed to providing evidence based intervention and is a strong believer in focussing on a child’s strengths. She uses a client-centred approach and believes that working in partnership with families is crucial in order to deliver effective therapy.

Sara-Lynn is particularly passionate about working with pre-school children with Developmental Language Disorders and children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Prior to qualifying as a Speech Pathologist she worked as an Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) Therapist. She is ADOS trained and also currently works within a specialist Autism diagnostic assessment team at a public hospital.

She is a member of Speech Pathology Australia and a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist.
