    After completing her studies in Perth, Sarah relocated to Melbourne to build her career opportunities. Sarah has worked in the disability sector for 8 years which included working predominantly with people who had diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Developmental Delays. Alongside these diagnoses, experience has been gained in working with co-morbid presentations such as anxiety, depression, attachment concerns, obsessive-compulsive disorders and sleep difficulties.

    While working directly with clients, Sarah is motivated to build the capacity of their supports to achieve the best outcomes. Sarah has gained experience working with clients across the lifespan and of varying cultural and gender diversities. Sarah uses a trauma-informed approach to her practice, with core values including empowerment, equality and inclusivity. Her aims include creating a safe space for her clients, building a strong therapeutic alliance and maintaining an individualised approach to service delivery.

    Areas of experience and past focus include positive behaviour support, emotional regulation, anxiety and anger management, social skill development, school refusal, self-esteem building, motivation and coping with transitions. Sarah also values supporting clients and their families with the journey of understanding and accepting diagnoses. Sarah has completed training in play therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
