Child, Adolescent and Young Adult Psychotherapy and Psychology at Crisalida
Jennifer has worked over 18 years as a Child Psychotherapist for the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service and the Gatehouse Centre at Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. She has also worked as a Psychologist with children and families in private practice, community and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services settings. Jennifer has almost 30 years of clinical experience in these combined fields. She works with children, adolescents and young adults in individual therapy and also sees families.
She has particular skills and interest in working with new parents and their infants/ young children (early intervention around the emotional issues and dilemmas of development, including early parenting issues, is known to be particularly effective).

Informed by her clinical research in the area, Jennifer also offers a service to families where the diagnosis and treatment of a medical condition in a child often brings enormous challenges for the family.  Jennifer provides a reflective and supportive space to help families through these times of great stress, helping parents to discover and use their personal resources, to facilitate adjustment.
Jennifer works with:

  • Infants and toddlers with their parents
  • Under 5’s and older children
  • Adolescents and young adults
  • Parents and families
