Lee’s Occupational Therapy experience has included an early childhood Developmental Assessment Team, a Special Developmental School, a Behavioural Optometry practice with children who have learning difficulties and a Supported Employment Service for adults who have an intellectual disability.
Individual or small group Occupational Therapy sessions involve skill development and suggested activities and strategies to use at home or preschool or school.
Lee set up Spring into Action in the year 2000 to combine Occupational Therapy with her long-term interest in the Performing Arts. Currently, as well as providing individual Occupational Therapy, Spring into Action collaborates with other teachers to provide mainstream Creative Contemporary Dance classes and both Dance & Drama classes for groups of children who have specific needs.
