Dr Lisa Warren is a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist. She has membership with the Australian Psychological Society Colleges of Clinical Psychologists and Forensic Psychologists. Lisa has worked for over 10 years variously in the health system, the criminal justice system and in universities. She has worked in clinical practice and given expert testimony in courts in areas such as risk assessment, mental impairment, crimes compensation, and immigration. Lisa is trained in cognitive behavioural and mindfulness therapies. Her clinical experience includes work with persons diagnosed with mood disorders, anxiety disorders and substance use disorders.

In addition to her clinical experience, Lisa has held academic positions at Monash University, Melbourne University and RMIT. She has taught at all levels from undergraduate psychology, medicine and law, through to doctoral-level psychology students. As well as working in private practice Lisa also works as a Research Fellow at Monash University.

Lisa’s PhD studies examined threats and threateners. She has published and lectured widely in the area of threat management. Lisa is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Psychology, Psychiatry and Law, the European Association of Threat Assessment Professionals, and the American Psychology and Law Society.
