Clinical Psychologist & Neuropsychologist
Lydia is a collaborative Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Neuropsychologist with experience providing psychological therapy to children, adolescents, young adults, and parents across hospital, psychiatric, community, and private practice settings. Lydia specialises in supporting children and young people (and their parents/families) with complex mental health and medical and/or developmental needs, including neurodevelopmental conditions, neurological and chromosomal/genetic disorders.
Lydia also has experience conducting cognitive and neuropsychological assessments of children and adolescents. Assessment reports are individually tailored with the goal of empowering the young person, their family, teachers and therapists with useful knowledge to best understand and support the young person.
She is passionate about supporting young people and families from all walks of life. Lydia is a neuroaffirming therapist: she has worked with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder since 2008, and previously worked as a Clinical Neuropsychologist in a paediatric ADHD Clinic. She was also a member of a Multicultural Mental Health steering committee and worked with refugee families in Perth.
Lydia’s clinical style is grounded, compassionate, and evidence-based, with a focus on empowering individuals and families through practical, strengths-based support and psychological therapy. Lydia is committed to integrated, holistic care and is experienced with collaborating with Psychiatrists, Paediatricians, GPs, allied health professionals and teaching staff to ensure that clients benefit optimally from the therapeutic process.
