    Music Therapist

    Timothy is a Registered Music Therapist with the Australian Music Therapy Association (AMTA), having completed his Master of Music Therapy at the University of Melbourne in 2022. He has experience working with participants across the lifespan in a range of settings, with a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals and their families.

    Timothy has advanced training in Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT) and is passionate about the powerful relationship between music and brain function. He draws on neuroscientific principles to deliver targeted, evidence-based interventions that support cognition, speech and communication, motor skills, sensory regulation, and social engagement.

    In sessions, Timothy creates a fun, creative and supportive environment, using a variety of approaches including singing, instrument play, songwriting, improvisation and music-based movement. He places strong importance on building a collaborative therapeutic relationship and works closely with participants and their families to identify and work towards meaningful, individualised goals.
